Volleyball Recap: Newark Tech Comes Up Short

Newark Tech lost against Payne Tech two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Terries took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Terries have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newark Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Payne Tech, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Newark Tech will venture away from home to square off against Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Terries surely won't give up without a fight. As for Payne Tech, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against West Orange on the 21st.
