The biggest upset of the week belonged to San Lorenzo, who took down 676th ranked Piedmont, 21-16. Raymon Moore ran for 120 yards in the win.
The Rebels moved up to 756 from 852 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Alameda County - Shoreline. San Lorenzo climbed the ranks as a result of a 21-16 win over the Highlanders.
The Rebels' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kevin Mosi threw for 132 and one touchdown and Andre Benson Jr had 42 yards receiving. Charlie Davis III helped San Lorenzo's passing attack out by catching four balls for 36 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Gilberto Magallanes and Joshua Handy Tennyson has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Magallanes leads the league in passing with 660 yards, while Handy has rushed for 407 yards this season. Alameda's Chris Bussey leads the league in receiving yards with 389 on 30 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Arroyo takes on the Lancers. The Dons are currently in fourth, while Tennyson is in first.
Arroyo and Mt. Eden played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Arroyo eventually emerging with a 31-28 victory. Ryan Gordan ran for 117 yards and caught one passes for two yards in the win.
