Softball Recap: D.H. Conley Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact D.H. Conley can now relate to. They fell 6-3 to the South Caldwell Spartans on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Friday.

Lena Zurface was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for D.H. Conley and nudges their season record down to 23-7. As for South Caldwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 21 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-2 record this season.

As of now, neither D.H. Conley nor South Caldwell have any future games scheduled.
