Ty Shull gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Wednesday. Nobody could stop him as he struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Willcox's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 4-2 (and 5-11-1 when he doesn't).
