With a playoff win on the line, Sacramento rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 victory over the Rio Americano Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dragons have posted since December 21, 2023.

Sacramento is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points over those games. As for Rio Americano, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.

Looking ahead, Sacramento will face off against Rocklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rocklin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Sacramento likes a good challenge. Rio Americano does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
