Basketball Game Preview: University School of Nashville Tigers vs. Battle Ground Academy Wildcats

Having just played yesterday, the University School of Nashville Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, University School of Nashville ended up a good deal behind Hume-Fogg and lost 64-46. The Tigers have struggled against the Blue Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Battle Ground Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Middle Tennessee Christian 88-56. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Battle Ground Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for University School of Nashville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

University School of Nashville came up short against Battle Ground Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 67-63. Can University School of Nashville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
