Volleyball Recap: Desert Oasis Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Desert Oasis came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Amplus Academy Archers as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-13.

Desert Oasis can attribute much of their success to Madalynn Tobiasson, who had seven aces and five digs. Those seven aces gave Tobiasson a new career-high. Sienna Young also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Desert Oasis was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive contests.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 9-15. As for Amplus Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Coming up, Desert Oasis will take on Mercy in a tournament on Friday. As for Amplus Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
