Basketball Recap: Mountain View's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Mountain View needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight games and they got it from Jayden Minor. The Mountain View Spartans put the hurt on the Los Altos Eagles with a sharp 45-25 win on Friday thanks in part to Minor, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Mountain View's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-7. As for Los Altos, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Mountain View will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for Los Altos, they are taking a road trip to take on Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
