Softball Preview: Louisville Wildcats vs. Columbus Falcons        
        
		
            
 The Louisville Wildcats will head out on the road to  challenge  the Columbus Falcons at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Louisville is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Louisville never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against McAdams last Friday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp  22-8 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Louisville's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
  Jaidah Dixon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run but no hits. Dixon was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple.
 In other batting news, Louisville got a  massive  performance out of  Kaylee Goss, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, six  RBI,  and two  stolen bases.  Kaylee Parks was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, sadly, Columbus is still looking for their first win of the season after nine  matchups. They fell victim to a  tough 15-0 defeat at the hands of Neshoba Central  on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for Columbus seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in March.
 Louisville's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
