Softball Recap: Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Kenston Forest Kavaliers by a score of 4-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-1 last Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Reagan Litchford, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Edmonds, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-3. As for Kenston Forest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will face off against Isle of Wight Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kenston Forest, they will take on Tidewater Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
