Sunrise Mountain waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Canyon View Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 1st.

The win didn't come easy: Canyon View scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 25-23.

Brayden Case paced Sunrise Mountain's offense, picking up ten kills. Case got some help from Dane Shepherd and his 23 assists. Shepherd was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Sunrise Mountain pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Canyon View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Sunrise Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Centennial on the 22nd. As for Canyon View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Ironwood on the 22nd.
