Volleyball Recap: TAYLOR FINNE's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Incline over Truckee + How To Watch

Incline lost against Truckee back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Highlanders lost 3-0 to the Wolverines.

Incline was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-14.

Several Highlanders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TAYLOR FINNE, who had 25 assists and eight digs. FINNE is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was LILI MORRISON, who had ten digs.

Incline's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-6. As for Truckee, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Incline will challenge rival Debbie Smith CTE Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Truckee is set to square off against their familiar foe South Tahoe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
