The Panorama Pythons's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They put the hurt on Lake Balboa College Prep with a sharp 50-29 win. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up seven more assists than your opponent, as Panorama did.
Christian Vargas was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 15 points. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Eduardo Munguia, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Lake Balboa College Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TYRONE NASIBIAN-WINBORN, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds. CHRISTOPHER GARCIA was another key contributor, scoring 3 points.
Panorama pushed their record up to 1-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Panorama will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Valor Academy at 5:15 p.m.
