Meanwhile, Jeanerette can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 37-27 victory over Ascension Episcopal. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Jeanerette, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Central Catholic against Jeanerette when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 60-21 victory. Will Central Catholic repeat their success, or does Jeanerette have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
