Basketball Recap: Echols County Skates Past Community Christian Academy with Ease

Echols County came into Thursday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their match on Thursday with ease, bagging a 69-38 win over the Community Christian Academy Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 83-43 back in November of 2024.

Community Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Hadley, who posted ten points. Kylin McDonald was another key player, putting up ten points.

Echols County's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Community Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Echols County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-45 win against Aucilla Christian on the 17th. Community Christian Academy has also already played their next game, a 34-29 defeat against Colquitt Christian Academy on the 17th.
