Volleyball Recap: Langtree Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Langtree Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the East Lincoln Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-14.

Langtree Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Lincoln, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Langtree Charter Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Lincoln Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Lincoln will face off against rival Hopewell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
