Recap: Bowman Academy Eagles vs. Culver Academies Eagles
The Bowman Academy Eagles were the 65-57 winner over the Culver Academies Eagles when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Bowman Academy took a hard 57-42 fall against Culver Academies on Saturday.
Bowman Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamarie Pollard, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tasean Gates, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Bowman Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Culver Academies, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Bowman Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Michigan City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Culver Academies, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Guerin Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Guerin Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Culver Academies in Indiana (Guerin Catholic is ranked 26th, while Culver Academies is ranked 186th).
