Volleyball Recap: Adena Warriors vs. Piketon Redstreaks
Adena came tearing into Thursday's contest with 12 straight wins and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Piketon Redstreaks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redstreaks, too.
Adena was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-17.
Leading Adena to victory were Kimmy Dalton and Kayla Grooms. Dalton had 14 digs, while Grooms had 15 assists. Dalton has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.
