You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Mays on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the M.L. King Lions out of the water with a 91-53 final score. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Omari Barnes, who dropped a triple-double with 22 points, 11 boards, and 12 assists. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Davenport Cox, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Mays smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive games.

Mays is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.5 points over those games. As for M.L. King, their loss dropped their record down to 8-18.

Looking ahead, Mays will take on Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Mays likes a good challenge. M.L. King does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
