Football Recap: John Paul II Comes Up Short

After soaring to 57 points the game before, John Paul II was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the Dallas Christian Chargers 42-10. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

John Paul II now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Dallas Christian, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Looking ahead, John Paul II is taking a road trip to challenge Bay Area Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Broncos have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Dallas Christian, they will welcome All Saints Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
