Sheridan has gone a perfect 8-0 against River View recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Generals will look to defend their home field against the Black Bears at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sheridan has four straight victories, River View has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Sheridan made easy work of Logan and carried off a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

River View couldn't beat Garaway on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Black Bears lost 10-4 to the Pirates.

River View saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Mizer, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

River View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Sheridan, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Everything went Sheridan's way against River View in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Sheridan made off with a 24-1 win. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Black Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
