The Roosevelt Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Lamesa Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Roosevelt's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Benito Barrioz, who rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns. Deev Lugo was another key player, rushing for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lamesa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
