Soccer Recap: South Adams Comes Up Short

South Adams lost against Woodlan back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Starfires fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that South Adams have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for South Adams and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Woodlan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Adams will venture away from home to challenge Coldwater at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Adams' defense better be ready for this one: Coldwater have averaged an impressive 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Woodlan, they will face off against Jay County at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
