Eastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
The win made it two in a row for Eastern and bumps their season record up to 5-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Federal Hocking, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
