There's no place like home for Aspen, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Coal Ridge Titans on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Skiers in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won five in a row.

Aspen was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-22, 27-25.

Andrea Lee paced Aspen's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lee got some help from Ava Braley and her 16 assists. Elena Creamer controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Aspen's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Coal Ridge, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Aspen will take on Battle Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coal Ridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Rangely on the 4th.
