Softball Recap: Central Magnet Comes Up Short

Central Magnet lost against Blackman back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Central Magnet lost 15-3 to the Blackman Blaze. Central Magnet has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Magnet saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Nickerson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Central Magnet now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Blackman, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Central Magnet will square off against Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blackman, they will take on Community at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Blackman surely won't give up without a fight.
