Virgin Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-12 victory over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon. The Bulldogs are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

It was another big night for Davie Slack, who threw for 174 yards and seven touchdowns, and also rushed for 73 yards on only nine carries. That's the most passing touchdowns she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Linita Kioa, who gained 137 total yards and three touchdowns.

Everything went Boulder City's way against Mater Academy East Las Vegas as Boulder City made off with a 28-6 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Boulder City's win came from a few key players Virgin Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sancha Jenas-Keogh, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making two total tackles. Noelle Payne was another key player, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
Boulder City's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Hannah Stark with three sacks.
Boulder City's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Virgin Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 20-1.
Thursday's contest might be decided in the on the ground. Virgin Valley has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 171.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Boulder City struggles in that department as they've been averaging 233.6 rushing yards. It's looking like Thursday's matchup might have some serious battles in the trenches.
