Recap: Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles vs. Garrett Memorial Christian Saints
Sadly, the Mountain Home Christian Academy Eagles are still looking for their first win of the season after six contests. They fell just short of Garrett Memorial Christian by a score of 45-42.
Leading Garrett Memorial Christian to victory were Mikayla Fields and Gracy Martin. Fields scored 14 points along with eight rebounds, while Martin scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Laikyn Mitchell, who scored nine points along with six rebounds.
Mountain Home Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Garrett Memorial Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
Mountain Home Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Garrett Memorial Christian will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Legacy Academy at 4:00 p.m. on February 10th. Legacy Academy will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Garrett Memorial Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
