Baseball Recap: Meadville Comes Up Short

Meadville fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Harbor Creek on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 8-5 to the Huskies. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Meadville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacoby Thompson, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played. Bradyn Miller was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Meadville's record now sits at 4-6. As for Harbor Creek, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
