Basketball Game Preview: Eagle Pass Eagles vs. Laredo LBJ Wolves

The Eagle Pass Eagles and the Laredo LBJ Wolves, after both having extra time off, will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Laredo LBJ took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Eagle Pass, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Eagle Pass didn't have too much trouble with Randolph as they won 52-35.

Meanwhile, Laredo LBJ was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost to Medina Valley on the road by a 50-34 margin. The Wolves were down 42-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Laredo LBJ's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Eagle Pass, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Eagle Pass came up short against Laredo LBJ in their previous matchup back in January, falling 31-26. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
