Volleyball Recap: Gulf Coast Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Gulf Coast had won three straight games and Vanessa Lange did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Sharks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Riverdale Raiders with plenty of help from Lange, who had 25 assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more assists the last three times she's played.

Gulf Coast walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20, 25-16.

Gulf Coast's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Riverdale, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.

Gulf Coast has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against First Baptist Academy on the 27th. As for Riverdale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against LaBelle on the 30th.
