The Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 72-32 loss at the hands of All Saints Episcopal School. Kingdom Prep Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-19.
Leading All Saints Episcopal School to victory were Blake Matzner and Caden Mead. Matzner scored 16 points along with three steals, while Mead scored 15 points along with six assists and five steals. Matzner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Andre Sizer, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Kingdom Prep Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for All Saints Episcopal School, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1.
Kingdom Prep Academy will take on Christ the King Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for All Saints Episcopal School, they will head out on the road to challenge Ascension Academy on Friday. Ascension Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
