Preview: Quitman County Hornets vs. Pataula Charter Academy Panthers
Quitman County is 8-1 against the Panthers since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Quitman County Hornets will head out on the road to take on the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers at 7:30 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Quitman County was beaten by the Red Devils 68-31. Quitman County has struggled against the Red Devils recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Pataula Charter Academy had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Stewart County 75-47 on the road on Tuesday.
Quitman County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Pataula Charter Academy, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-13.
Quitman County strolled past the Panthers in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 59-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Quitman County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
