Basketball Recap: Homedale Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Homedale had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They managed a 52-48 victory over the McCall-Donnelly Vandals. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Homedale has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for McCall-Donnelly, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homedale will head out to challenge Fruitland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McCall-Donnelly, they will head out on the road to face off against Weiser at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th.
