Basketball Recap: Osawatomie Beats Pleasanton for Their Second Straight Win

If Pleasanton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Osawatomie, they should've done a better job of containing Jasper Sallee. The Osawatomie Trojans were the clear victor by a 58-32 margin over the Pleasanton Blu-Jays on Tuesday thanks in part to Sallee, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Osawatomie's points.

Jaxon Stevenson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Osawatomie and bumps their season record up to 5-4. As for Pleasanton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Osawatomie will be taking part in a tournament against Prairie View at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Osawatomie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.3 points per game this season. As for Pleasanton, they will be playing at home against Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday.
