Soccer Recap: Port St. Lucie Takes a Loss

Port St. Lucie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Martin County Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 526th, while the Tigers are ranked 98th).

Port St. Lucie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Martin County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Port St. Lucie will square off against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Port St. Lucie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Martin County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Palm Beach Lakes at 6:00 p.m.
