Temecula Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bonsall Legionnaires a 13-0 shutout. Fans of the Golden Bears have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Kay Peterson looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit any time she's pitched this season.
