Recap: Millburn Millers vs. Arts Jaguars

The Millburn Millers were the 54-43 winner over the Arts Jaguars when they last played one another back in January of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Millburn took a serious blow against Arts on Saturday, falling 67-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Millburn has scored all season.

Millburn's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Benmorits, who scored nine points along with six rebounds. Jesse Schwartz was another key contributor, scoring five points.

Millburn struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Millburn's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Arts, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millburn will take on Newark Collegiate Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newark Collegiate Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Arts, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Immaculate Conception at 1:00 p.m. on January 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Immaculate Conception is ranked 28th, while Arts is ranked 30th).
