Basketball Recap: Peetz Comes Up Short

Peetz lost against Prairie back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs lost to the Mustangs at home by a 56-38 margin. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hannah Kugler was a one-woman wrecking crew For Prairie. as she dropped a double-double with 35 points and 12 boards. Those 35 points gave Kugler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Macie Jaeger, who posted ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Peetz's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prairie, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Peetz and Prairie will both be playing Lone Star the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Longhorns at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
