Basketball Recap: Anahuac's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Anahuac's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Hardin Hornets with a 52-46 win. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Anahuac moved to 7-14 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Hardin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Anahuac Panthers challenge the Kountze Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kountze will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Anahuac surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hardin, they will venture away from home to take on Buna at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
