Basketball Recap: Cadott Comes Up Short

Cadott managed to keep up with Bloomer until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cadott Hornets came up short against the Bloomer Blackhawks, falling 64-44. The Hornets have struggled against the Blackhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Cadott still got an impressive performance from Kennedy Nerdrum, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Nerdrum is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tarynn Donahue, who posted nine points.

Cadott now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Bloomer, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-5.

Cadott will host Thorp at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bloomer, they will head out on the road to square off against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
