Basketball Recap: Osmond/Randolph Hawks vs. Walthill Blujays
The Osmond/Randolph Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Walthill 55-18 on the road. That looming 55-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Osmond/Randolph yet this season.
Osmond/Randolph's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Scott led the charge by scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Scott hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Sophie Gansebom, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Osmond/Randolph and bumps their season record up to 5-14. As for Walthill, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Osmond/Randolph will be playing at home against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wausa is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Walthill, they will head out on the road to square off against the Chiefs on Tuesday.
