Basketball Recap: Cooter Takes a Loss

Cooter lost against Portageville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cooter Wildcats took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Portageville Bulldogs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooter's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Portageville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Cooter has already played their next contest, a 70-46 loss against Gideon on the 31st. As for Portageville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kennett at 2:30 p.m. on February 19th.
