Sitka had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 19 on Saturday. They never let the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. Considering the Wolves have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Bryce Calhoun was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over 6.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Calhoun wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Brett Ross, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Ross is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another was Tanner Steinson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Sitka's win was their 13th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-2-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Juneau-Douglas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

As of now, neither Sitka nor the Crimson Bears have any future games scheduled.
