Bowie kept a clean sheet against Fabens on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Fabens Wildcats. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 2-2 loss.

Bowie's offense was hitting Fabens from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Amy Acevedo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Bowie has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six contests. As for Fabens, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowie will welcome Irvin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fabens, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Ysleta at 7:30 p.m.
