Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Patriots vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders

The Lincoln Patriots will challenge the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 6.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-28, which was the final score in Lincoln's tilt against Brandon Valley on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt suffered their closest loss since January 19, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Watertown by a score of 32-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Rough Riders in their matchups with the Arrows: they've now lost five in a row.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

Lincoln came up short against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 45-34. Can Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
