Volleyball Recap: Pymatuning Valley's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Pymatuning Valley dropped to 7-8 on Monday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Badger Braves, falling 3-0. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hannah Young paced Pymatuning Valley's offense, picking up five kills. Young got some help from Ameara Lowe and her seven assists.

As for Badger, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Badger's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyleigh Hall, who had eight aces and seven digs. With that strong performance, Hall is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Lendak, who had 11 kills, nine digs, and four aces.

Looking ahead, Pymatuning Valley is taking a road trip to challenge Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Badger, they will host Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
