After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Island Coast, Golden Gate was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Northridge Knights by a score of 6-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Golden Gate got a great performance from Shae Weeks as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 5.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Angel Nunez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jonh Mairena, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Golden Gate's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Golden Gate will host Barron Collier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Barron Collier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Northridge, they are taking a road trip to face off against Aubrey Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Aubrey Rogers will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight.
