Softball Recap: Sentinel Spartans vs. Capital Bruins

Sentinel extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 7-8 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Capital Bruins. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

Makenna Thorson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Haley Sellers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
