Soccer Recap: Ashley Ridge Comes Up Short

Ashley Ridge managed to keep up with West Ashley until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Swamp Foxes came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against West Ashley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on April 4th.

This is the second loss in a row for Ashley Ridge and nudges their season record down to 7-7. As for West Ashley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season.

Ashley Ridge will venture away from home to face off against Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Ashley, they will host Stall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Ashley are facing Stall at the right time seeing as Stall are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
